Eurofins Genomics' siRNA design tool is a proprietary developed software designed to help you selecting the most appropriate siRNA targeting your gene(s) of interest.
Several siRNA design criteria and scoring schemes have been proposed in the past to find specific sequences and stability features of functional siRNAs.
Eurofins Genomic’s siRNA design tool is making use of the set of guidelines initially provided by Tuschl et al . In addition it applies the scorings criteria developed by Reynolds , Ui-Tei , and DSIR  as described by the authors below.
The design results show the best siRNAs according to the Reynolds, UI-Tei and DSIR scores. The best siRNA is most likely the one that shows the highest scores.
The selected siRNA sequences can directly be ordered online.
We recommend using the NCBI BLAST tools before ordering to prevent off-target effects of the predicted siRNA.
